Last year I went on a 4 week trip to ride all across Europe, which took me to Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy and France. An awesome trip which is now captured in a 5:30 minute video.
These are all my posts about street luge.
Maryhill / Whistler 2014
Last summer I traveled to the US for the first time, to participate in one of the world’s best downhill races; Maryhill – Festival on Speed. And just for the fun of it I traveled to Canada as well for Whistler Longboard Festival.

I wrote this post to explain the differences between street luge and ice luge. Before I started with ice luge, I thought they were very similar, but I found out there’s a world of difference between them.
Wallonhill End of Summer
The last freeride of the season is mostly “Wallonhill” in the Belgian Ardennes, an easy fun track with our local crew.
Whistler Finals Finish
I made it to the finals at Whistler Longboard Festival. In this video I am battling it out with David Dean for 3rd place.
Whistler Longboard Festival
After Maryhill in the US, we drove North to Whistler Sliding center in beautiful British Columbia (Canada) for Whistler Longboard Festival.
USA / Maryhill Festival of Speed
My first trip to the US, to participate at the legendary Maryhill Festival of Speed.
Eat Concrete is a local downhill skateboard race in Belgium and this year they allowed street luge and classic luge as well.
We went back to Lugembourg for 2 days of riding with a group (actually a bit too big and diverse but that’s hindsight).
Summer road trip 2013
This summer I did my first year of IDF racing. I participated in 3 races in the Czech Republic and France.
