I wrote this post to explain the differences between street luge and ice luge. Before I started with ice luge, I thought they were very similar, but I found out there’s a world of difference between them.
Ice luge
These are all my posts about ice luge.

Pictures Oberhof 2014
Pictures from my training week in Oberhof, Germany. This track was ‘the answer’ to Königssee. Back then, the East-Germans wanted something like Königssee, so they built this track.

Luge run @ Oberhof
I did a lot of runs from the junior start at the luge track in Oberhof, but I wasn’t able to nail corner #13. Therefor I only did one cam run, the very last.

Pictures Königssee 2014
These are photos taken during the FIL ITW (International Training Week) in Königssee, Germany. This track is the first artificial track that was built. Kind of cool to ride it.

Ladies start @ Königssee
I went up to the ladies start and did a few kick ass runs. I recorded the last of ’em.

Luge run on track cameras
This is the video which is shot by the cameras along the track. This is the same run as the run in the post before this one.

Luge run in Königssee
This is the last run of 3 nice runs I did today. Today was a good day :)

Pictures Sigulda 2014
These are some photos I took in the second training week in Sigulda, Latvia.

Luge run in Sigulda
Not one of my best runs, but the only one in Latvia with a GoPro on my helmet. You can see me hitting some walls while hurdling down the ice.

Ass luging in Latvia
While walking the track for the first time in Sigulda (Latvia), Lucas and I slid down on our asses, which was hella fun.
